The original drawing was firstly created in 2001. It was kept, with many others, in my treasure box until 2003, when I finally digitalized it and began its final image. It was presented in my first solo exhibition in 2003, titled Victoria Station to Kifisia Station. The show took place at Gloria Art Gallery in Nicosia and then followed at Azia Hotel in Paphos.
In 2001 I had my 2nd motorbike accident; my first one happened precisely ten years earlier, in 1991. Both accidents ended up with a broken leg, the same but different places, a fractured shoulder, and lots of scars. I was not responsible for either one.
The second accident thought was meant to happen. I was a student in Athens, and I was heading to college when a driver's door suddenly opened. I landed on the car in front, which the driver was a doctor, and right next to a stationed ambulance, only 2 km from the hospital.
I waited with a broken leg in the hall for 7 hours at the hospital without any treatment. Finally, I injected a strong painkiller, and after a few minutes, I asked for a pencil and a piece of paper.
My first solo exhibition, titled "Victoria = Kifisia"
I was the first to exhibit digital artwork in Cyprus. I had a limited edition of each painting 1/7.
