2018 I reached a turning point in my experiments with damaged and decaying early 20th-century glass negatives. I strongly desired to share my works with a larger audience after engaging in a great deal of experimentation and contemplation.
I created the triptych "Paphian Souls" by fusing together pictures of two attached, decaying glass plates. Each piece, enlarged to an imposing 150 cm in height and 100 cm in breadth, was proof of the transforming potential of art.
I was thrilled when I submitted my work to the Larnaca Biennale 2018, as it is a prestigious international Art Fair held in Cyprus. I was delighted to receive a response that exceeded my expectations. Not only was my work approved for display, but it also won the "Excellence" award. This is evidence of the resonance of my work and the significance of my artistic journey.
